My first printed book with color illustrations. It is a collection of traditional (folk) rhymes and songs for children. It was a wonderful, inspiring challenge to illustrate it, because very often these texts are grotesque, fantastic or totally abstract. I know most of them from my own childhood, that’s why working on this book was also a wonderful journey into the past.
